  8. DepthChange --------------------
  9.      DepthChange gives you another way to change your monitorﾕs color mode. Every single DepthChange application changes monitorﾕs color mode to its pre-set mode, and pre-set mode that one DepthChange application can have is only one. So it doesnﾕt mean so much if thereﾕs only one DepthChange application. However, multiple DepthChange applications with different pre-set modes will be a nice handy utility. Just double-click a DepthChange application that has the pre-set mode that you want to change the monitor to, and thatﾕs it! Your monitor is now set to the mode you want!
  10.       You can of course put them on the desktop, but I suggest to put them in the Apple Menu, so that you now have a monitor-mode-changer menu with installing NO INITs!

  15. MBarClock --------------------
  16.       Are you really satisfied with Menubar Clock option of System 7.5? What does this option do if you got lots of long menu items? It disappears! MBarClock is the best solution for MenuBar Clock. MBarClock uses spaces on MenuBar where are blank ALL THE TIME. Do you find them? They are left of Apple Menu and right of Application Menu. MBarClock draws little digital clock there. You can also display date instead of time. Since there are two displays, you also can display time on the left and date on the right AT THE SAME TIME. This is handy. Have a try.

  22.       is a MOD editor/player. MOD is a music file format which does not require external synthesizer that came from Amiga. There are tons of MOD files available at FTP sites in the world. You can enjoy editing / listening those files. Even if you are not music pro, have a try!

  28.       What image do you have for a CD player display? A track number display and a time display? Maybe that's real common, but wait a minute. Who said that CD player's display should be like that? Don't you think that display is too small? PRO CD has a nice large 10-line display. Each line can display different info such as elapsed time, remaining time, track number, playing mode, etc. INDEPENDENTLY. This means you can set each line to display different info, or you can set all the line to display the same info. PRO CD also has program shuffle mode that Apple's player can't do.

  33. SetItsType! --------------------
  34.       What do you do if you want to change file type / creator of a file? Open it with ResEdit? Yes, that's one of the way, but isn't that too inconvenient? SetItsType! is a little application that changes file's type / creator. Just drop any file, and type in new type and creator, make sure the type is OK by looking at the real-time changing icon, and just hit "Set". Here we go!

  39. SoundVision --------------------
  40.       Have you ever seen a sound? Why don't you try it on your Mac? If your Mac has microphone or CD-input or something like that, You can see it with SoundVision. SoundVision is probably the fastest sound analyzer for Mac. SoundVision shows waveform and spectrum of sound at REAL TIME on most of Macs. You don't need fast Macs like AV series to do real time analysis, only you need is a Mac IIsi (normal one, 68030 20MHz). Have a try. It's fun!

  45. SpectFFT --------------------
  46.       SpectFFT is an integer FFT library. Its routine is almost identical to the FFT routine of SoundVision. If you know the speed of SoundVision, you know the speed of SpectFFT. SpectFFT is intended to be used with Metrowerks Codewarrior 6 or greater, and it is real easy to use. Currently only 68k version is available. PPC version may be available soon.
